I loved my stay with spacious grounds and exceptional service. exploring the Lakes Aquarium and taking a stroll around the captivating Newby Bridge Weir made my weekend unforgettable.

we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful old hotel in a great spot for exploring the lakes. our superior double room had a comfy four-poster bed with funky lighting, and the water pressure in the shower was impressive for such an old building. the staff were incredibly friendly, and we loved the fantastic breakfast options and the well-maintained facilities, including the indoor pool.

Free Wi-Fi, a lovely bar, and a fitness center were added bonuses. Breakfast was a self-service buffet with plenty of options. There’s even an indoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip.

Checkout time extension was denied, which felt a bit inflexible, especially since I had hoped for a little extra time to unwind before heading out.
